By converting a CMX3600 EDL into an Autodesk DLEDL file, your workstation will automatically import the files it needs

Say you have been working on a big feature film and now you need to conform the trailer.
Instead of importing the whole film, you can now load the DLEDL, and your workstation will only import the images it needs for the trailer.

Simply export an EDL from your Avid, Apple Final Cut or Adobe Premiere and convert it for use in Autodesk Smoke or Autodesk Flame.
